Kera Van Buskirk

Direct Mail Program Manager

Kera Van Buskirk was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She lived there for her entire childhood and relocated to Deltona, Florida the summer of 1999. Kera started working at a nursing home in her local town called John Knox Village as a server in the dining room. From the nursing home to a fine steak house, is where Kera received her experience in real customer service. Kera graduated from Deltona High School with a 3.9 G.P.A. and started at Seminole Community College right after graduation. Shortly after the first semester was over, Kera decided she would rather go to work.

Kera started at Car People Marketing, Inc in January 2004 as a customer service representative. While in the customer service position her duties were basic in calling each account for proof changes, approvals and cleaning the files extracted from each dealership database. Since Kera’s employment she has worked from a customer service representative to heading up the company’s direct mail department. Kera and her team’s direct mail department produces over 400,000+ pieces of mail each month between their Due for Service reminders, recall mailers and special service mailers. Aside from constant strides to build the direct mail department's numbers, she also enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
