Jim Vaughn

National & East Coast Team Leader

Jim Vaughn began learning the sales trade at an early age. While growing up in East Tennessee and West Virginia, his father was a sales manager for a furniture manufacturer and would take him on road trips to visit and work with sales reps all over the country. Jim’s first job was a manufacturer’s rep for a furniture factory in Tennessee and quickly became the company’s top producer, eventually opening up territories in 12 states for the company.

Jim moved on to the automotive business and spent the next years of his career in sales management and sales training positions in the Conversion Van and RV industries. A 6 year stint in a Chevrolet dealership in Tennessee was his only “non road warrior” job.

Jim joined Car People Marketing in 2003 and has held positions there as Regional Sales Rep, Eastern U.S. Sales Team Leader, RV Division Product Specialist and National Sales Team Leader. Jim is currently the company's North American Sales Director, managing Sales Teams throughout the U.S. and Canada.
