Marc Larabel

Marc Larabel

Rewards Operations Manager

Marc Larabel grew up around a body shop as his Grandfather and Father owned a shop in DeLand, FL for many years. Marc started working for Walt Disney World at the age of 18 in WDW Central Shops Paint Shop. After a few months he was promoted to Foreman and received a crew of 13 and was put in charge of special projects. Some of his projects included the Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat in front of Disney's Hollywood Studios, the Super Star Limo Ride for Disney’s California Adventure, Antique Car Props for Disney's Hollywood Studios, and a 40ft tall Baloo and 18ft tall Mowgli for Disney’s Pop Century Resort. This is where Marc learned most of his managerial skills. After 5 years at Disney Marc’s long time friend notified him of an opening at an aggressive marketing company called Car People Marketing he worked for in Port Orange. Marc went for an interview and saw the potential of the company and decided to make a career change.

Having never been in the print industry Marc had his work cut out for him. He had to learn the most efficient way to produce and mail products as the company was growing and evolving so rapidly. For some time he was a one man team setting up accounts, printing, binding and mailing. When the need arose he started to build a team and add new equipment. Now the production department consists of many individuals who do what it takes to produce a quality product quickly and efficiently. Equipment has grown from one laser jet printer, a manual cutter, a table top folder, a table top book binder, and a small table top tabber to all high powered, high volume, production equipment. Marc’s main duty at Car People Marketing is to find new procedures, material and equipment to keep costs down and productivity up.

Marc’s free time is spent with his family doing anything outdoors. Marc is also a musician who produces and records, drums being his main instrument.
